You might know how the business works and know who to talk to, but what is more important is that you should be able to engage the key person/s in a substantive conversation so that you can extract the information that you need. If you do not have these skills then expect tough times ahead. More often than not, the people that you will encounter during this phase of the project are pre-occupied with things other than your interests. Moreover, you must also know how to validate the facts gathered without offending the person from which you got the information. Again, the SAP Business One training class will not provide you the techniques in drawing out vital information from interviewees. There are specific soft skills training classes for that. The learning center however will provide implementation guides and will give pointers on which data is relevant in system configuration such as building the master data, creating marketing documents, designing reports, and formulating queries. With this knowledge, you will know what you need and you will get it more efficiently.
To summarize the above, SBO training will not spoon-feed you to become an expert in business analysis or implementation Processes but it will definitely help you in becoming one.
